Every year, thousands of men and boys have their lives ruined by girlfriends and wives who make false rape claims. If these men do not serve life in prison, their employment prospects are nearly ruined due to having been accused of a felony they did not commit. Worst of all, these women and girls are almost never punished for their actions, even if they admit to the accusation being false. We need to make false claims of rape to be charged as a felony crime to discourage these actions that ruin the lives of so many innocent men.
