Millions of people are on the roads everyday driving to and from work, running errands, or just joyriding. Many of them tune into the radio for a bit of entertainment, to get weather and traffic reports, or listen to the latest breaking news. Like most others, I don't know every sound of every song to ever be played on the radio, so I don't always know if there will be loud sirens coming up in a particular song, radio show, etc. When I DO hear sirens, my adrenaline often spikes and I look around frantically to see if it's safe to move over to let emergency vehicles pass, or perhaps pull me over. It adds a lot of unnecessary stress to what should be a relatively stress free commute, and has potential to create dangerous situations that are easily avoidable. Ban them from being played!
