Television commercials are still 5 to 10 decibels louder than the programs we are watching. Not only is it annoying but it is allowing the advertising lobby to continue their psychological bombardment of our senses in an entirely inappropriate manner that degrades the services we pay a lot of money for. Make the FCC enforce the CALM ACT. Make TV stations, cable operators, satellite TV providers or other multichannel video program distributors (MVPDs) accountable for obeying the LAW. So far they are ignoring the law and if we do not act they will assume we are too stupid and/or ignorant to care.
