Make the FCC enforce decency standards on network TV to limit violence, crude language, sex and gore in programming.

Created by S.K. on May 11, 2013

The FCC website states: "It is a violation of federal law to air obscene programming at any time. It is also a violation of federal law to air indecent programming or profane language during certain hours."

These laws are being ignored because they are not being enforced. Networks keep testing how far they can go because they want their shows to be 'edgy'. Shows are adding more violence, foul language, nudity and gore in an effort to attract viewers.

The FCC is not enforcing the standards already in place that would keep entertainment decent. We want the FCC to fine networks that violate the standards and enforce the set limits.
