Make February 12th or April 15th a federal holiday, commemorating the birth or death of President Abraham Lincoln.

Created by S.M. on January 21, 2013

Abraham Lincoln was possibly the greatest president we have ever had, yet he is not officially respected with a federal holiday. Being that it is MLK day, it makes one wonder, "what if Lincoln didn't become president?" Without him, Martin Luther King Jr. couldn't have done what he did. Therefore, he should have a federal holiday named in his honor.
