Research demonstrates that Yoga for children increases focus & concentration, builds confidence, strengthens muscles & flexibility, fosters language & interpersonal skills, and inspires creativity & community service. Children diagnosed with physical and myriad related challenges are particularly benefited by yoga. Yoga doesn't require expensive equipment or resources, yoga can be practiced anywhere. We want February 14 to be Children's Yoga Fellowship Day, to promote yoga for children, for everyone. The sooner children can start a daily yoga practice, the greater the health benefits, where positive impressions are cultivated very early, samskaras inspiring increased peacefulness, resilience, awareness, strength and creativity.
