Establish a federal law that prohibits sitting members of congress and senate from being re-elected in the event the government is not operating on a zero-deficit budget. In making re-election contingent on a balanced budget that precludes further debt, we are putting the good of the country ahead of life-long politicians. Eliminate the status quo, and put America back on track to prosperity.
