Many avoidable catastophies have occured the past few years in America, bringing up the idea to change the federal gun laws. The 2nd Ammendment which was adopted 1871 should be updated to a current day standard. This petition is to try to convince the Obama administration to consider these certain stipulations.
1. ALL guns must be registered with the state, even those kept in ones home or inherited.
2. Make it more difficult to obtain a CHL
3. Make everyone purchasing a gun have a mental evaluation max 30 days before the purchase date.
"Guns don't kill people, people kill people"
This quote is true! There is a reason for people to own firearms, but if we don't regulate WHO has control of these deadly weapons, then when will the violence end?
