Science has done more for humanity than any other thing including religion, why shouldn't science have its own day? Martin Luther King has his own holiday for changing civil rights and liberties for everyone in the united states, Einstein is the reason we even have a United States.
He is the one that urged the United States to start research on the atomic bomb because Germany was developing it as well. We would be another part of Russia or Japan or even nothing but dust without Einstein. This is the reason we should celebrate him the same way we celebrate Martin Luther King, they are both great men and should both have the respect they deserve.
