The American Flag has stood for the United States of America since the late 1700's. It is a symbol of freedom, dreams, unity, democracy, and so much more. The American flag has been with us through every war, ever catastrophic event, everything the world could throw at us and Old Glory has continued to wave.
Why would we let fellow "Americans" stomp on, and dance on, burn and challenge other Americans to do the same? Do not say it is their first amendment right because there are so many other ways that protesting can be done. MLK, Rosa Parks, Black Panther, School Segregation, War, Taxes since when was descrication of the American Flag apart of that?
I would implore POTUS to enact a federal law that makes it illegal for the American Flag to be desecrated in any way, shape, or form.
