Make a Federal Law that Police Officers are to be subjected to the same consequences as civilians for criminal acts.

There have been several occurrences where Police Officers, have murdered, assaulted, and submitted false information on official police reports to cover themselves and Internal Affairs whose job is to regulate, enforce and/or ensure that law enforcement officers follow all regulations and guidelines as well as investigate any foul play by the police department appears to do their job poorly as it would seem many Police Officers who have committed manslaughter, murder, assault some of which have been caught on tape are suspended, re-assigned or let off the hook all together. Police Officers are suppose to protect and serve. Please enforce a Federal Law that will ensure all Police Officers who have committed a crime stand trial and serve jail time just like us civilians.
