For to long news agency's and entities that own them have been able to influence who does what, when, where and how in politics. Having a regulated 100% biased set of news agencies will allow politicians to run on the merit of their beliefs rather than what best serves the interests of a select few.
This is a big deal and start to shift the interest of politicians to what's good for the country without having to walk on egg shells. Not saying that what politician's do now aren't in the best interest of the country.. This will just allow them to do so with less external influence.
Let's do what's right, what's just and what is for the good of the counties long term interest.
