Rape is a terrible crime. Being accused of rape can destroy a person's life and diminishes the faith people have in real victims.
As of now, the only recourse is through the civil courts -- but false accusation of sexual crimes carry with them no real penalties.
At most, maybe a year in prison where in some cases the accused has already spent a decade behind bars.
That is not justice.
