This community cherishes sports. College athletics in particular bring out the best of this nation because they give non-sports fans a chance to pull together with their community. For this reason, I believe that the first full day of NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament games should be considered a national holiday. No other sporting event concerns more people across the nation than this day where so many teams play. If this were given a chance to be reviewed, I believe people would be extremely grateful. It gives everyone a day to solely come together with their communities to support their local colleges. The day after the Super Bowl doesn't reward this many people. No other sporting event compares. So let's get one day off for sports where everyone can enjoy it. This is the way to do it.
