Flag day celebrates the creation of the United States flag, on June 14th 1777. We the People all have pledged an allegiance to this flag. Polls show the country is getting less patriotic and I think this would make us more patriotic. Patriotism gives a strong cultural identity to our nation and we should expand it throughout the entire country. It also gives us a Federal Holiday in June which is a month that we currently don't have a Federal Holiday.
