make Florida make provisions for chronic pain patients to obtain their legal medications without disruption or prejudice

Created by P.B. on April 08, 2016

the Florida state "Pill Mill Law", HB 7095, puts the lives of legitimate patients suffering from chronic pain in danger, while doing very little to curtail the illicit sale and abuse of pain medications in the state.

Opiod withdrawal is serious and extremely dangerous. Hospital ERs here in Florida fill up every month with patients who are refused their medication by pharmacies who are under orders to turn patients away. patients with chronic pain are treated like drug addicts every time they try to get a legitimate and legal prescription filled. Some patients become so despondent that the suicide rate of such patients has increased every month since the law was put into place.

At least half of these patients affected are disabled veterans who have risked their lives defending our country
