Ford Explorer must recall their 2004 edition because of faulty and unsafe transmissions . I researched my very same issue on Google and found so many others with the same issue. The transmission is unsafe, this truck jerks very hard when shifting , especially when stopping making it very difficult to do so. I called Ford just like so many others and they refuse to correct this issue . Ford is a company that was bailed out, helped by the government but they refuse to help out the very angry consumers who buy their products and get left stranded because of poor craftsmanship. Something must be done about this, by marketing this vehicle they scammed tons of people out of money.
