Make a formal complaint/ to take action facing athletes, their families and observers subject to the Russian LGBT ban.

The Russian Federation and its executive branch have created a law that would imprison individuals, citizen or not, for supporting what they call "homosexual propaganda". As the American nation moves forward in tolerance and perception, it's almost an insult to athletes, their families, and peaceful observers that they would become victims of a senseless law by expressing their love and affection; their human right. We must request the president to either create formal protections, or take a stance against the USA participating in the Olympic games if it means American citizens will be victims of an inhumane law. We request the President to issue a formal reprimand to the Olympic committee and acknowledge the concerns of the LGBT community and their allies in America.
