There are some nasty fraudsters posing as telemarketers claiming to offer lower interest rates on credit cards. The fraudulently attempt to pose as one of YOUR credit card issuers. They are NOT! They violate the FTC do-not-call list. They call cell phones with their scam.
The FTC thought that they acted against these people last fall. It only took 2 weeks before the fraudsters were back on the phone annoying people.
It's time for the FTC to really act against this group of fraudsters and put them in jail, fine them heavily, and get them to stop using the phone and calling people who do NOT want their calls.
