Numerous Video Game companies have falsified product claims, allowed people to purchase games that could not be played because of server errors and are unwilling to announce the length a game will be available after you purchase it or additions.
The ESRB only rates games, but any sense of quality control is left to the Producers. Many games are forcing players to always be connected to their server, yet they can't support the amount of units they sell. Even worse is social gaming, many free-to-play games still let you to purchase items in game, yet they never let their users know the expected run length of the game. When the game ends unexpectedly because the publishers focus somewhere else, the money invested by the consumer is lost.
Gamers are their main stakeholder, Fraud = Fraud!
