Philadelphia is and has always been an important part of our nations history. As you may know, "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" is a celebration of all that this historical city has to offer.
Furthermore, amiibos, a product sold by Nintendo, a Japanese company are a very hot product right now. The supply is abysmal because Japan has a weak grasp of capitalism and supply/demand. (Because they ain't Murca)
I think that this episode would be paramount to establishing our dominance in the global market while poking fun at Japan.
