Make Gay Marriage Legal.

I believe that legalizing homosexual marriages will not badly affect our country at all. Normally this is declined, because a few people quote the bible, and everyone goes insane. Our government should not be making decisions based on whether or not it seems okay to one certain group. The separation of church and state dictates that the government cannot enact one certain religion to be mandatory in the United States of America, so why do we make decisions based on only one? Seriously, is gay marriage really going to cause anyone physical pain? Is there a part of our bodies that is just waiting for it to be legalized, so that it can send sharp pains all over once two men or women can be legally married? If so, I would like to hear about it. Please, do consider my plea for equality.Thankyou
