Gerrymandering should be illegal because it is wrong for districts to be disproportionately divided for the gain of one political party or another. I would like to see the districts to be a square with the exception of state or county boundaries that are formed by tributaries, coasts or uneven county or state lines in which case there shall be a boundaries determined by an algorithm that allows for an equal representation of the populace in each voting district.
