We've all been there, the sporting event where the singer tries, but fails, to sing the Star Spangled Banner in proper key.
The song itself is a testament to our resolve as a nation through war. "God Bless America" is a dedicated ode to the entire country, one of peace and beauty of our lands.
With that, I believe it is much better suited to represent our country and all its' splendor.
(An added bonus, it's much easier to sing!)
