Everyone who is entitled should receive unemployment insurance for 30 days. After that they should choose to go into a training program or to receive meaningful employment by the government. Many things need doing and it's silly to have unemployed people when our country needs many things done. We need to improve all forms of transportation, roads, bridges, train tracks, etc. We need improvement of schools and public buildings. We need additional people to work in schools, nursing homes, etc. Some people would prefer to learn new skills and such people should be given a stipend while attending school.
