Make the government pay for uninsured motorists since it's the governments job to make sure they are not on the road.

Many dollars are given to insurance companies to cover the cost of uninsured motorists. Why should the people be required to pay for the governments lack of enforcing law? The government should cover damages caused by people who the government are supposed to be keeping off the road. Many times the uninsured individual simply gets a ticket and when the victim goes to sue the offender for damages there is no money to obtain. Since it is the governments job to handle these situations the government should cover when they fail at their job.
