Make Gun control Laws a states decision

Created by G.G. on December 21, 2012

The state should decide major Gun control Laws. Gun control laws have been proven to not work, due to it is clear that criminals don't follow laws, and having a high capacity mag and assault weapons ban in all 50 states should not be allowed. Just because one state is high in crime, does not mean other states must pay the price by not being able to get arms.
Having the state decide allows laws to be formed right for their own state. If a state is low in crime, there is no need to end the ability to bear assault weapons because of a state high in crime. Overall, Major gun control laws like assault bans should not be a Delegated power. While states DO have the ability to make gun laws, they should have more power over it then the Delegated have regarding this issue
