Make gun owners register their guns every year and fine them for failing to register or report them stolen/missing.

Create more responsible gun owners and easier to track lost/stolen/missing guns. Every gun owner can purchase more ammo yearly but only has to register the gun once during purchase. Making gun owners register their guns yearly keeps track of who has guns and what guns can be out in the street illegally. We have to register our vehicles yearly and a hand gun that is built to kill/maim/injure is only registered once. Registering guns keeps track of guns that could be used in street crimes or violent sprees. Plus it would also create some revenue that could be used to help violence victims whether locally state or on the federal level.
