"Hail Columbia!" was once considered one of the unofficial anthems of the U.S up until 1931 when, "The Star-Spangled Banner", was labeled the official anthem. I believe that should be changed to one of our oldest patriotic songs, "Hail Columbia!". Not only does it touch on our founding roots, it also just sounds better. I believe we should instate as our anthem. Not only for its historical importance, but to help revitalize the ever shrinking patriotism in the youth today.
