Every year, Halloween is on a different day of the week. This year it's on Monday, a school night. Most schools don't give the day after Halloween the day off despite the need. Kids and teenagers are out late the night before, high on sugar, and sleeping over at friend's houses, how are they supposed to do homework and go to school the next still being well rested? Do school's expect the kid's to not enjoy their holiday? To just stay at home working while their friends are out having fun? Some of the best memories from kid's childhood is Halloween night, collecting enough candy to last them months. Their imagination can run wild on this night, they can dress up as whatever they desire. Thanksgiving is on the last Thursday of November, why can't Halloween be on the last Saturday of October?
