We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Make Halloween a National Holiday

Created by F.H. on September 30, 2016

Our nation is one of the few countries in the world where Halloween is celebrated, and like most things we love to do it up right. There is one thing holding Americans back from giving this tradition it's due, Halloween is not an Official National Holiday. We Americans already spend $6.86 billion dollars on our Halloween celebrations every year, imagine the leap that would occur if Halloween was granted the status of a National Holiday, the kickstart to the Holiday season would put manufacturers and retailers on cloud nine, eclipsing any additional payroll associated with staying open on a Federal Holiday.
Most of all, the children of our nation deserve to have wonderful memories of fun, friends and family that Halloween represents.
