Hedgehogs are extremely easy pets to care for and will not harm humans or the environment. These small creatures are legal in New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Ohio, and some parts of New York, but not Pennsylvania. Why are lions legal to own as pets in PA, and yet, hedgehogs are not?
