We ask that a device called Hemopurifier, from Aethlon Medical, be made available immediately to any person(s) afflicted with Ebola, who contracts the virus here or seeks treatment in the U.S. The device was used for the very first time on a human patient in the case of Dr. Michael Mawanda, the Ugandan doctor who was relieved of the virus at the Frankfurt Hospital in Germany. The doctor was unconscious, suffering from multiple organ failure when the device was administered. Dr. Helmut Geiger, chief of nephrology, later reported at the ASN convention in Philadelphia on 11/14 the data related to the amount of virus that the unit had filtered out of Dr. Mawanda's system. An unexpected viral load reduction from 400K to 1K in 6.5 hrs of treatment and 242M copies of the virus trapped in the HP.
