Final exams need to be made mandatory in high school. Colleges practically give out no homework: it is just exams. Students have yet to master the exam taking skills since they have not been prepared to do so since they are optional pertaining to the teacher's opinion. With exams being mandatory, high school students will be better prepared for college and not have to struggle as much in their first year. It says that in high school, tests are frequent, but cover small sections. In college, tests are infrequent, but they cover large amounts of material, which is why they are called exams. Students need to be better prepared for these.
