The extremely high price of college is a barrier that is preventing many young, bright students from getting the education they deserve. The average amount of debt after graduating from 4 years of college is $29,000. This does not even take into account debt that students will accumulate if they choose to get a Masters or Doctorate degree. As 21 and 22 year old graduates with more debt in front of them, this is an incredibly hard way to start life. Other countries have significantly lower prices for college, for example Germany recently made college tuition free for all students. As America evolves it become nearly impossible to get a good job without a college degree, and it is simply unfair that students who wish to pursue their dreams are unable to because of the insane price.
