If you are a tax paying citizen and legal resident of the USA, you already pay for the funding that public Universities use to operate via state and/or federal money.
The more Americans that are not sinking in student loan debt, the more they can contribute to the economy.
We need more Americans working and this would help keep our jobs from being outsourced to people in other countries due to qualifications.
This should also forgive debt accumulated at public universities, students have been subject too previously.
