We must end the economic disenfranchisement of hundreds of millions of workers and consumers by shifting macroeconomic decision-making power from a minority of shareholders that represent corporate elites to a majority of stakeholders that represent everyone in order to expand the plurality and diversity of economic empowerment. We need economic reconstitution and an economic bill of rights to provide not some, not many, but all Americans with a floor to stand on, not a rope to hang on. We need to fight for free and fair democratic principles in the economic sphere, so very powerful corporate elites don't influence our political democracy, like today. And that must change.
