As a recent high school graduate, I have no idea how to properly fill out taxes. I do not have the knowledge on how to provide for myself or a family. I was not required to take a Home Economics class in High School and my Economics class hardly covered budgeting and taxes. I want my children and my children's children, the future of our society, to have that knowledge. I want our society to be independent. We are too dependent on others and our government. We need to teach our children how to be independent. Is that not what our society wants? Is the not what our society needs? Sign this petition. Help bring Home Economics to every school in America. Help make Home Economics a Federally required course in High School. Not for a semester, but a year for Juniors and Seniors in High School.
