DHS, SSA and NOAA have ordered over 2 billion rounds of hollow point ammunition. Add to this the 2,717 “Navistar Defense” armored vehicles and the 7000 fully automatic rifles that the DHS has order.
We the people want to know why. One of the answers that has been given is to save money. This is false and anyone with a brain knows it. Members of Congress have asked Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano to explain why DHS has been engaging in huge amounts of purchases of ammunition over the past year. DHS has refused to answer.
It is time for the administration to stand up and be honest with the American people.
