The people of America feel that their current anthem does not truly reflect their identity. Let's firstly get an excerpt from the current national anthem of the United States of America, which is entitled "The Star-Spangled Banner" and the very first couple of lines state "Oh say can you see by the dawn's early light, what so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming." This, albeit a very emotional line and excellent in the literacy department, does not quite grasp the feel of our people. Not as much as Bobby Shmurda's hit song "Hot N*gga" which, straight off the bat, declares "In Chewy I'm some hot n*gga" which instantly, in just a few words, takes us to the very foundation of this nation, the African Americans.
Mr President, hear our cries.
