make identification mandatory for voting in Federal Elections

Created by W.B. on February 17, 2013

Currently some states have ‘Voter ID’ laws, while some do not. Voter ID for Federal elections should be mandated by the Federal government. We require ID to accomplish almost every other aspect of daily living even to buy a pack of cigarettes or alcohol. It seems an ID is required to do almost everything in this country except to vote. Any legal citizen can go in to any license branch and get a legal ID. Most all legal citizens likely have already been faced with, and responded to the need to have a valid ID in their daily lives. In 2012 the UN attempted to oversee our elections. A Country founded on freedom should not need an outside organization to oversee our election process. We can insure our elections are legitimate by mandating voter ID and insuring one vote per citizen.
