I would like to see identity theft and, computer hacking made into a bigger crime than it is. This stuff ruins people's lives and, in some states you can get more jail time for simple possession of marijuana then you can for identity theft. That doesn't make sense. I want the penalty for these crimes to reflect the severity of these issues. I would like to force convicted thieves have to register and, tell their neighbors the same way we force sex offenders to do. I would like the lives of identity thieves to be made as miserable as they make their victims. No more fines and, time served garbage. 10 years in the federal lock up for the first offense. Lets make the punishment so severe that it deters people from doing it in the first place.
