Make illegal the detaining of American citizens, if suspected of terrorism without clear and sufficient evidence.

Created by I.T. on December 24, 2012

When you're accused of a crime in America you should get a trial, by a jury of your peers, no matter how heinous your crime is, and no matter how awful you are. The Indefinite Detainment Act takes away that right and says that if someone thinks you're dangerous, they will hold you without a trial. It's an abomination.

The Indefinite Detainment Act is a bill of attainder. According to the constitution a bill of attainder is treason, and it specifically says the legislation nor the president is allowed to make such an act. Also this act is no amendment that was ever ratified so this Act isn’t even a valid law.

Every citizen has the right and duty to void and nullify any and all unconstitutional Bills, laws, orders, directives.

Do we want the Indefinite Detainment Act? America says NO!
