Make Illegal Service Providers' Worthless "Admin" Fees

Created by B.B. on March 14, 2013

Service providers (ie, telecom, utilities, et al) with large customer bases have long exploited their market share by using "economy of scale" leverage. Economy of Scale can be reduced to a simple maxim: It's easier to steal $1 from 65,000,000 persons than steal $65,000,000 from one person. Example: Some 8 years ago, Verizon Wireless added a .40 "admin fee" to its monthly bill. It's now $1. It adds no enhancements or added value to its service. So, why do it? Because, with help from telecom lobbies and other "Hill Rats", they can. Verizon is far from alone in playing this game. For starters, have a closer look at the details of your phone bill, your utilities bill and other bills from a provider with a substantial customer base. That's where you'll likely find their little devils.
