In the wake of yet another senseless and tragic mass shooting, it has become very clear that the citizens of the United States of America are incapable of managing themselves with regard to firearms. No one should have the ability to senselessly end the lives of others simply by visiting a local gun show and filling out a few forms.
Only trained professionals and those who have undergone a rigorous psychiatric evaluation and background check should be allowed to own firearms. The government should regulate ammunition the same way they do for the military. Citizens should not be allowed to stockpile weapons and ammunition and should have to return all ammunition which wasn't used during recreational events and have it verified by the number of casing returned.
