make the inclusion of gender non-specific bathrooms and locker rooms mandatory in new K-12 establishments.

Created by R.B. on January 28, 2015

Oftentimes individuals who do not identify under the gender binary of male or female find themselves in a difficult situation when attempting to use a bathroom or locker room. This is a particularly stressful situation during the schooling years of K-12 in which an individual may be uncomfortable with being around others who do not categorize under the same gender identification as them self. By mandating the inclusion of gender non-specific bathrooms and locker room in all newly built learning establishments, it will allow for questioning or gender fluid youth to feel more comfortable when changing or using the facilities.
