Make the information on pistol permits private and protected under hipaa laws and not accessible due to privacy

Block the information gun owners put on pistol permits to be part of the freedom of information act. This information has personal information in it and should be regarded as part of hipaa laws protecting your privacy. Recent events in the state of NY by a newspaper violated legal permit holders right to privacy. The newspaper obtained identifying information on pistol permit holders in its area via the freedom of information act and then printed that information in its newspaper. This information included: Names, Addresses of residences and if that they were pistol permit holders. This breech of privacy has put all mentioned in harms way by providing access to said information and making them targets for violence. The law needs to protect a permit holders privacy, not endanger the person
