Please sign this petition and let our President know that there is MORE to Healthcare Reform than just requiring coverage and eliminating pre-existing conditions!
Insurance Companies should be made to:
1) adhere to their LEGALLY BINDING Contracts with both patients AND providers and pay claims which they are legally obligated to pay without threat of inappropriate denial, recoupment, or review.
2) correct their mistakes in a timely manner, fix and immediately pay all inappropriately denied claims once proof of correction is established, and discipline claims processors who repeatedly make the same mistakes or who make intentional mistakes and/or deletions, up to and including immediate termination.
3) be required to provide proof AND explanation BEFORE recouping monies not legally due.
