We the undersigned hereby affirm that insurance websites are not accessible to everyone, especially those who need it most. The terms are confusing as well as the “convenience” of accessing them. People need to have their options presented in layman’s terms and they need the ability to discuss their issues and concerns in real time (face to face or phone) with a representative. Those who may need the insurance the most, such as the elderly or those who are unemployed or underemployed, may be secluded due to limited access to technology. This petition proposes that every city has a designated area where people can go, discuss their options, and are allowed to sign up for insurance in a way that is easiest for them.
