Make The International System of Units (SI or metric system) the standard system of measurement in the United States

Created by J.G. on April 14, 2012

SI is the world's most widely used system of measurement. The United States is the only industrialized nation that does not primarily use the metric system. Adopting SI will help prevent US students from falling behind international standards in science education. It is time for the US to step up to the plate on this issue that has been recognized since the mid 1900's because this is going to be better for US science and education in the long run.
